We have established a new Stock & Station Agency at 82-84 Fox Street, Walgett on 16th June 2002, trading as Clemson Hiscox & Co Pty Ltd incorporating C & H Merchandise & Co.

The proprietors are Chris Clemson & Russell Hiscox. Chris has had 20 years agency experience working throughout NSW. Chris mainly worked for Elders Ltd. He has been the Manager for Elders Walgett for the past 5 1/2 years. Russell has had 10 years Agency experience throughout NSW with the majority of his time as Senior Livestock Salesman with Dalgety Wickman Ryan, Walgett.

The Business is providing a Full Livestock Marketing Service as both Chris & Russell are accredited Auction Plus Assessors, the results in the first 12 months of business on Auction Plus have been outstanding with sheep being sold for above market value to NSW, VIC, QLD & SA.

We can also arrange for both Fat & Store Stock to be consigned to Auction at Saleyards throughout NSW, Victoria and Queensland through our membership with Rural Marketing Agents Australia.

Clemson Hiscox & Co are also Wool Agents for Schute Bell Badgery Lumby, who provide a Full Wool Service, with wool travelers on the road throughout the state, Interest Free Shearing Advances, receival & auction centre at Yennora, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane. Also very competitive Finance can be arranged through Schute Bell.

We also provide a full Merchandise Service through our subsidiary company C & H Merchandise. Mr Mark Elliott worked as Merchandise Manager of Wesfarmers Walgett. Mark has been in the rural merchandise business for some 8 years. A position arose in Walgett with Wesfarmers Dalgety Schute Bell Wickman Ryan. Mark worked with Wesfarmers for 3 years in Merchandise sales until becoming Merchandise Manager. He then commenced work with C & H Merchandise. Mark can provide a full range of Broadacre & Animal Health requirements.

Mrs Judy Campbell is our Administration Manager and Residential Real Estate Salesperson. Judy first came to work in Walgett in 1979 with her husband who was a livestock carrier at Baradine before moving to Walgett. Being a nurse, she was quickly sought after by the local hospital where she worked for some 10 years. She then commenced employment in the administration of the hospital system on a part time basis. Judy then went on to Seed & Grain IAMA until commencing work with Kelly's Property Sales Pty Ltd for some 4 years mainly doing rental and residential Real Estate and Clearing Sales.

Both directors are auctioneers as well as very experienced staff in both property sales, Residential Real Estate, Auction and Clearing Sales, as well as livestock.
